Matcha, chia pudding – Breakfast/ Mic Dejun- Budinca de chia cu pudra de matcha

Matcha chia pudding

I have always been a tea lover and I would never say no to a cup of tea. I’ve seen lots of desserts on the internet lately, that were having matcha powder on the ingredients list and I was so craving for them but I couldn’t find any. Until yesterday, when I opened the mail box and found this amazing green thing in there. I made an order on ebay but I didn’t have any expectations because I thought I would probably be disappointed. No, no, no. I am more than pleased with everything! Shipping, the quality of the package, the quality of the product and the most important: the taste! Exactly my cup of tea!

So, as I was impatient to try the matcha powder as soon as possible, I’ve prepared a healthy yet delicious breakfast!

  • 200 gr low fat yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp match powder
  • 2 tsp stevia sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cruncy wheat bran
  • 2 apricots

Matcha chia pudding

1. Mix the yoghurt with vanilla extract, matcha powder until well combined

2. Add the stevia sugar and the chia seeds and mix well

3. Cut the apricots and add them to your bowl

4. Let the pudding set for a few hours or, even better, over night.

5. Serve with a tablespoon of crunchy wheat bran.

The taste of it is just perfect for a summer breakfast, delicate and refreshing. It has the flavour of vanilla combined with the perfect amount of green tea. The crunchiness added by the brans and the sweetness of the apricots complete the taste.

Am fost si sunt o mare iubitoare a ceaiului si nu cred ca as refuza vreodata o cana buna de ceai. In ultima perioada am tot vazut pe internet o groaza de retete cu pudra de matcha (ceai verde) si murea sa incerc si eu macar unul, dar nu gaseam pudra pe nicaieri. Pana ieri cand in cutia postala am gasit aceasta pungulita cu minunata pudra verde. Am facut o comanda pe ebay insa nu aveam asteptari prea mari pentru ca banuiam ca voi fi dezagita. Dar nu, am fost surprinza de calitatea serviciilor oferite dar si de calitatea produsului.

Si fiind atat de nerabdatoare sa incerc minunatia, am preparat un mic dejun rapid si delicios!

  • 200 gr iaurt degresat
  • 1 lingura seminte de chia
  • 1 lingurita pudra de ceai verde
  • 2 lingurite zahar de stevie
  • esenta de vanilie
  • 2 caise
  • 1 lingura tarate de grau crocante

1. Amestecati bine iaurtul cu esenta de vanilie si pudra de matcha

2. Adaugati semintele de chia si stevia

3. Taiati caisele in felii si adaugati-le peste budinca

4. Lasati budinca sa stea pentru cateva ore sau cel mai bine peste noapte

5. Serviti cu tarate de grau

Gustul este perfect pentru un mic dejun de vara, delicat și revigorant. Are aroma de vanilie, combinata cu cantitatea perfecta de ceai verde. Taratele si dulceata de caise completeaza perfect gustul.
